Main Frame Structure Complete

I completed the drivers side the same as the passenger side. It was much faster doing it the second time.

After doing that it was time to move on and tie the sides together. The rear was easy, it was just weld a straight section in to join them together.

The front took a bit more effort. I was not able to just join them straight because the exhaust and gear shift rods needed to go below the steering rack. I had to make a U shaped section to join the front. This worked out well because it let me attach the steering rack to the new frame instead of having it remain attached only to the firewall.

Now that the main structure is complete I will put the car back on it’s wheels and build the roll bar and dashboard bar. From there I will start building the remaining suspension and body mounts to complete the chassis.
