Found an Abandoned Junkyard in the Mountains
You never know what you are going to find when you go exploring in the mountains on an ATV. Here are some photos of a junkyard that looks like it has been abandoned for 50 years.
There were all kinds of cars. There was a Packard Clipper, GMC Truck, several Oldsmobiles, and various other Chevy and Fords. The pictures cover pretty much the entire yard. Some of them are not good but I am showing every picture because it is a very interesting site. The road that went there washed away probably 20 years ago so it is very difficult to get even an ATV there. Most of the yard you have to get to on foot, there is no trail available to ride to most of the yard. It is probably 20 miles off the current roads so it is not reasonable to walk there the whole way on foot.
